I am assuming you can purchase the dining plan as a DVC member. Is it the same price as that offered to non-owners? Also, when Disney has the "free" promotional dining, are DVC owners eligible for that if you travel within the period specified?

Thanks.

The price and availability of the dining plan has not been announced for 2007. Currently, it is $37.99 for adults and $10.99 for kids, per day of the ressie.

Free dining is not available with DVC reservations.

Are you kidding, we had to whine & cry just to get the DP in the 1st place;) , let alone get it free.

Aside from AAA pkg tie-ins, free DP specials are linked w/rack rate @ the WDW resorts during typically slow occupancy projections.

You probably can get free dining at DVC resorts. You just have to rent via CRO, pay rack rate and purchase tickets as well.

Hey .. how does the dinning plan work for us ? I've been out of the loop reading this board for the last couple months ,so sorry if I am touching on something that has already been discussed.. I am heading to the boardwalk in march and was wondering if this is something we can add

Last I heard, they didn't have a deal yet for 2007, so they weren't taking DDP reservations yet. But it was in the works.

In 2006, It works the same as the plan offered through CRO except you do not have to buy a MYW ticket with it (you can use your annual pass).
