Disney Dining Experience & V&A Chefs table

I am planning a trip in April. We love V&A and been there several times. We have yet to do the Chefs Table and have a PS for our upcoming trip.

How many of you out there have been able to get the discount off the Chefs Table?

If we don't get the discount, is the additional cost of Chefs Table without a discount over a regular table with discount worth it.

I'd say the chef's table is worth it WITHOUT any discount regardless of what you may have to pay for any other table anywhere else at WDW.
But that's just me. YMMV.

The Disney Dining card is a 20% discount which is very good.

Regular Table = $85 - Discount $17 = $68
Chefs Table = $125

Without a discount, that is $57 more per person.

I would love to try the Chefs table, but it so much more expensive.

I have read that some people have gotten the discount off the Chefs Table.

Is Disney Dining Experience the program that is only open to FL residents? If it's open to all, please tell me where to sign up?

I agree that the Chef's Table is great fun as well as great food. But if you can get that kind of discount in the main dining room but not at the Chef's Table, I personally would stick with the main room. Happy dining either way!

We did the chef's table March 2002 and got the discount.

As you can tell, we are Fl residents. This is a Fl resident only program. Sorry, it's not available to everyone. It's actually designed to get locals and even CM to dine at Disney more often.

We actually have a residence in Florida and New Jersey. That is how we were able to get the Disney Dining Experience Card. This card also costs about $60 per year for membership. For us, it has been well worth the money.

Does anyone know if there is a discount for AP holders? We are planning on trying V & A's durring our next vacation this coming fall, and wondered if there was a discount for AP holders. Thanks!
