LOVE the Beach Club pictures! I know what you mean about all the twists and turns you have to take to get to certain places there, the halls are so long with so many turns! We went looking for the laundry room one night and it was like a maze!

I LOVE that Mickey lamp, I wanted to steal it!

Did you have a refurbed room at Beach Club? When we were there in 2007 we had different headboards and bedspreads.

To me, the Walt Disney World archway should be recognized as one of the "wonders of the world". It's that beautiful to me.

Great pic of the arch!!!! I'm hoping to get a shot of it in October but I'm afraid that because we're staying at SSR the GPS will take us into WDW through the DTD area!!

I was very relieved to have the A/C issue resolved!

I love getting that shot of the welcome arch. When we went in March, we stayed at POR, and you wouldn't believe how the GPS got us there. The next thing I knew, I was pulling through the Lake Buena Vista Construction Company, passing cast parking, and then somehow I was at POR! It was crazy---and we missed the welcome sign!

We enjoyed the BC---glad to add it to my list of resorts we've stayed at.

To stay at Beach Club would be heavenly.

It was wonderful, and I know you would love walking over to Epcot. Now that Jill has taken the plunge and rented DVC points, you might be getting to try all those DVC resorts!

Well, if you found the laundry room in the main building, you found our room. The laundry was right next door to us. We were the last room door, and then the laundry room.

Did you have a refurbed room at Beach Club? When we were there in 2007 we had different headboards and bedspreads.

I think the rooms at BC and YC were refurbed in 2009. I know when we were at YC December 2009, we had a refurbed room, and they were finishing up. Most rooms then were changed out.

I really like the newer style/decor of the rooms.

I'm so sorry your trip down was so stressful! I'm so glad you were able to get the A/C working the next morning - I can not imagine a drive down to Florida with no A/C! And it sounds like you had a great hotel to spend the evening in!

I think we all enjoyed BC---the room location kind of put a damper on our excitement over the resort. The pool SAB made up for that, though! But I'm glad we can add it to our list.

You're right---after we realized how close we were to the end of the building near Epcot, that was a shorter walk.

The new BC rooms look pretty! I'm glad they kept the lifeguard lamp...love that! We found the rooms to be smallish as well and we're only a family of 4. The rooms at the Poly are huge comparatively!

I'm glad the freon fix got you there cool and hope it doesn't pose a problem any more! And yes, getting new ac in our house was definitely not in our summer budget but you gotta roll with the punches! Kids and I will just try to hang at home in the pool a little more this summer!
