My DH did something really fun on our last trip I wanted to share with everyone. This might NOT be the right forum, but it is about going to a theme park.

Normally, we plan the day pretty good. But, we had gotten checked in late and didn't get to the bus stop until 5:30 (the parks were closing at 8 or 9).

We still hadn't decided where to go, and didn't have much time. The last thing we wanted to do was wait 30 mintes for a bus to go to a particular park.

So my Dh said - "Lets just take the first bus that comes." Ended up catching the MK bus - and had a great 3 hours.

It was so different than our usual planning - but it was fun to be impromptu.

Being frequent visitors, we usually do the first bus is the starting place for the day. It ends up making things a lot more intesresting and spontaneous. I love when they have a CM at the bus area asking you where you are heading and you say you do not know until the bus arrives.

When we were staying at the Boardwalk we drove them nuts until they got to know us. The first CM was trying to be helpful by asking us what we were interested in and etcd, until we explained that after as many trips as we have done we just like to go with the flow and hop on the first bus that arrives. She thought that was a great idea as well.

My son loved the bus rides as much as the park rides, so he was happy to be on any bus, monorail or boat. Now at 5, he still likes the transportation, but the park rides and attractions are what he looks forward to, as well as pin trading.

:wave2:

We do this too. We start out with having a plan for which park we're going to, what restaurant we have on PS. By the time we get around to eat, we've cancelled the PS, changed parks, totally changed what we were doing.

All part of the fun to us, although it does sometimes drive me crazy since DH is the one who keeps changing his mind! Darn Libra!
