I saw this before & had to laugh..they raised the price & now CRT os 2 TS not 1. I wondered if adr's would drop off with the price increase & I guess they have. We did CRT in Oct before the change & I am sure glad we did since I wouldn't pay that much for breakfast even with Cindy.

We had our first snowfall here this morning in NY. 6:30 am this morning all 3 kiddies came into out room & shouted "it snowed, it snowed!!!"...they were so excited!

Where in New York are you? I'm in Poughkeepsie, and it's still snowing a little here. I don't think it's going to amount to too much, but even if it does, as long as I can get in that limo and off to the airport tomorrow at 3:30 p.m., I DON'T CARE!!

And then it is to remain COLD :cold:

Yeah -- and isn't it grand that they only give ONE picture to a party -- unless it's a LARGER party! Jeez!

all these posts about snow --i just looked out my window, and we have snow too..
I HATE SNOW!!!
im planning on staying inside alllll day

I wish! Christmas Parade today and my son's Cub Scout Pack is part of it. The kids are all dressing in winter sports outfits. I think DS will be bringing snowshoes! (He's riding - not walking!) Now .. off to sucker DH into walking with it -- and not me!

It's a deal!!!! Since we've moved here, we don't see snow unless we go into the mountains. I'm from the midwest- and absolutely LOVE the snow- of course, I've never had to go out into it! I just enjoy it from my nice warm home, with a fire burning in the fireplace, Christmas Carols playing in the back ground and the scent of cookies baking in the oven.....

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..........................

I must say that Stone Mountain is unbelievable.

Loved the laser show.
When were you at Stone Mountain?? I live only 15 minutes away.

 Anyone coming to Stone Mountain be sure to let me know so we can get together.

Lynn
Steffy and I went to see my two sisters (one of them is tinker1bell's sister) who live in Marietta in August of 2004. We took about 12 hours to drive down. Had a blast driving. Listening to a lot of good CDs, weather was just perfect. We get into Atlanta and the traffic really picks up. We are getting very close to my one sister's place and we encounter the ---
14 Lane Highway :earseek: 7 count em seven lanes each way. Which Steffy proceeded to count while driving :scared:
We got a late start to go to Stone Mountain so the only real thing we got to see was the laser show the one day. We really had such a good time that we decided to go the next day and see the rest of the place. Even rode the Duck. Had to get the duck bills. Our driver was Donald of course. Only time that I was concerned was when the thing went into the water. It really came pretty close to the edge :scared:
We also saw the 4-D show whick proceeded to scare the He** out of me. I really do not like snakes at all. Had to buy a hat which looked like the Lightening Bee. wore it all the way home :cool1:
And of course to top the trip off Steffy and I used our duck bills the next day at work while I wore the hat :rotfl:

Ahhhhh ... how romantic! Talk to me after you've been out shoveling at midnight or 1am because if you DON'T ... you'll never be able to make it through what piles up over night!!!!!!!!

We never had a snowblower until DH left for Iraq. DH isa strong guy and we just never had the money for it. (they're expensive for one that actually WORKS) Shortly after he left, we got hit HARD! My DS was not quite 5 and was sick. I went out to shovel with the baby monitor around my neck -- in hopes of hearing him.

I think it took almost 2 hours to shovel a "shovel wide" path from mt door to the car! (We have to have a plow truck -- our driveway is MUCH too long!) I came in for a rest and sat to read email and just sort of started crying to my girlfriends (a Mommy list based on when our kids were due).

I headed back out, but just to keep up with wat the wind had blown into what I had already shoveled!!!

What I didn't know is that my friend in FL took it upon herself to try to rent me a snowblower!!

I was so shocked! She called (I had a phone in my pocket too!) and told me the story! Told me to stop shoveling and get off the phone to expect a call.

Soon after, I got a call from a local business. She had explained DH was in Iraq and I was in over my head! They didn't rent snowblowers -- but sent TWO MEN!!! They shoveled all my walkways and deck and they even raked the snow off my roof!!! I was so very grateful!!!

Then -- she thought she had done nothing! (Can you believe!) She told me she couldn't let it hapen again and asked if I had a credit card. She told me to go out and buy what I needed for SNOWBLOWER! She sent me a check to cover te cost!!!! How can you ever thank someone for doing this? I had met her ONCE in Boston!!! We had been talking since we were both pregnant (sometime in 1997) and this was 2003.

Anyway ... that's my little pixydust story!!!!!

That is a wonderful story! People in this world can be so great!!

I DO remember those days of shoveling and the wind blowing and cvering up all the hard work..... but I still miss that snow (from inside my cozy home of course ;)!

Karebear1 don't get me wrong but I wish the snow would learn to just fall on the grass :rotfl: :rotfl: Depending on the depth, I sometimes cannot get out of our little development until the plows come. Sometimes they take all day to do just that. :earseek:
I really am not a winter person. Give me fall time pretty much with summer temps. :rotfl:

Marti........O.K......say I buy 150 points ($15000e).....put down 5% use your 15% off spread my payments over 10 years then my monthly payment would be about $160e....give or take. How long do I get to spend my 150 points?? do they expire?? what happens after I am paid in 10yrs??

As you can tell I have done some homework....ordered the DVD....but still not sure.

Lynn

Hi Lynn, just got back on for a minute - it was a long night again with Matt. Didn't go to sleep until nearly 5am. That was no problem in college, but :earseek: I'm not in college anymore!!!!

As soon as you are closed after your purchase (just like the sale of a house, but you don't have to be there!!) you get to start using your 150 points. You get these every year for 40 years. I don't know when SSR expires, but I think it is 2045. You pass them to whom ever you want to when you expire. Once you are paid off it ten years - guess what??? You have a Disney room PAID FOR to use each year until your expiration date. I look at it like a car payment for 10 years, then a free room at Disney each year for another 30 years. We have friends that went with us in October, used the 15% off deal and are returning to the world using their new points in January. If you have any more questions, let me know. Its good that you are doing your homework, if you do purchase, you'll feel better knowing that you checked it out thoroughly.

I am on Long Island. You should be fine tomorrow..they say it going to snow again monday night late into Tuesday morning so you will miss it! :sunny:

Ok - I just can't do it - I've caught up on like 8 days and I still have another 5000 posts to go - and every minute I'm reading those you're all still posting!!!

I even started reading every other page...

So I think I have the gist that we hit a few milestones - pretty much everyone got sick (hope you're all better) Midnite came back (hooray) you talked about tv and football - and how to make shirts - and there were some new designs (I hope you all have these in photobucket accounts so I can see them as finding them in 5000 posts will be impossible!) and everyone had a ball!

Oh and the scrapbooking/cooking people complained about us! What I really want to know is what page should I start at to find how we got a board of our own!!!!!

It's okay Marti. I'm sure there will be a day that I will have to beg the queen for something too... :rotfl: :rotfl:

Amy :)

Watch out! She's read that by now and will definitely hold that against you! :teeth:

Oh I was making notes - here's what I got!

Tia - can I just say that I love the photo in your sig of your daughter hugging Aladdin! I was in the line to meet Mickey and Minnie at Epcot behind a guy with his daughter who annoyed me so much because he just stood there holding his camera and looking around in a bored way while his little girl (3ish) ran full pelt at the characters and dived at them for a big hug - Mickey even scooped her up... still no camera... then she did the "standing next to Mickey pose" and he finally took the picture! I just wanted to shout at him - you're missing the pixie dust moments!!!

Miss Missy - I loved your jokes about marriage - thought they were rather apt for me as a newly wed!

Kate - your - to be 6 again - story made me laugh!

10,000 post party - wow I gotta get through another 5 milestones yet but that one was exciting!

Ditto! We have tried moving the cars down to the street and just walk down the drive -- but then the snow is sometimes too deep for that and then the town plows pile up snow at the end of the driveaway so some times there is a HUGE snow bank to get through

Give me an 85 degree low humidity day any time! Warm enough to swim ... but not getting all sorts of sweaty!

I also like Fall. :) Except for the fact that winter is around the corner!
