I don't like the casting of Belle- hail to the newsies director, but she looks nothing like a belle to me unlike the Enchanted Tales Belles- they are spot on.

Overall I liked it, but didn't really enjoy the singing.

I thought it was good. My 5 year old loved it...including the songs. We downloaded Rotten to the Core. That is all have heard for the past 2 days.

Our daughter (8) loved it. Wants to be Mal for Halloween. We downloaded the soundtrack and she sings it constantly

I enjoyed it over all but a few things bugged me. I agree with the previous poster about Belle and Beast too.. they were way too generic, and had none of the character traits of the characters. They could have been any random King & Queen. Maleficient singing an over the top show tune was just awful. And lastly, how do you get elected King, and then have your son inherit the throne at age 16... while you're still alive? The author didn't understand how monarchies or democracies work. Other than those annoyances, it was pretty good, and I liked most of the songs, so I downloaded the album.
