Prologue;
Hello and welcome to my first Trip Report!
My name is Wendy and I come to you from Nova Scotia, Canada. If you have read my PTR and followed me here, welcome! If you have not read my PTR, welcome! If you would like to, you may do so here.
The cast:
Wendy "Darling" (me). 25, photographer, horseback rider, amateur painter.
Johnny "Darling". 25, my husband of (almost) one year. Plumber, army reservist, absolute Prince Charming.
Monique. My mother in law and newest Disney fan.
Kevin. My step father in law and another plumber.
Melissa. My cousin, very close to 24, living a 5 hour drive away from me, huge Disney fan.
Ron. Melissa's boyfriend. 24, IT guy, first trip ever! Surprise thrill seeker.
To start things off I will very quickly summarize the above mentioned PTR. Johnny surprised me early with a trip for our first anniversary. We planned to go on the actual date, October 16. Free dining foiled our plans and we took advantage. We then planned Sept. 24 - Oct. 2 at Pop Century and paid to upgrade the dining plan. Then we included Melissa and Ron who were going to come Sept. 24 and check out on the 29th. Then we included my in-laws who were coming on our dates. Then, one week before we left our airline gave strike notice. They said some flights would be canceled but no telling which. In a moment of panic, we changed our flights from the 24th to the 23rd to give us 24 extra hours to juggle with flights if we needed to. We booked one night at Pop Century. Strike was called off and we decided to go ahead with our one extra day. That is where I left you. Call that one slice of panic bread on my interesting sandwich trip -- hence the name. What will the other panic be? Did we actually enjoy a trip preceded by so much stress? How did we do our first time with a bunch of people? Tune in to find out.
