Disney Debit Discount Question

Does World of Disney offer a discount for Disney Debit cardholders?

I read that but I kind of thought that World of Disney would have been included since they are owned by Disney. I also kind of assumed that since the stores that give the discount in the parks aren't listed out that the only ones that don't give the discount are the independently owned ones. I was wondering if this was also trie of the Disney owned stores in DTD....

I thought they did offer the discount. Something like 10% off if you spend at least $50. I remember asking a long time ago because we were wondering if that discount was better than what we could get with our passes. But since the pass discount is better for us, we've never used the Disney Rewards one. But I thought the CM said that they do offer it.

We got the 10% off in March. Did spend over $50.

We used our Disney Debit to get 10% off a purchase over $50 at that DTD store in May. It wasn't even a question with the CM checking us out. I just said I'm using my Disney debit and she said no problem, I'll get the 10% discount on there. Done!

It's states, in classic lawyer style, that WOD is included. Footnote 9 on the main perks page:

*Discount does not apply* at the following locations: Midway Games, Fairytale Arts, Jewel of Orleans, Silhouette Studio, Portrait Artists, Parasol Cart, Heraldry Shop, Crystal Shops (Crystal Arts and Cristal d’Orleans), face painting locations, or *at any Downtown Disney® District location* *other than World of Disney® Store*, D Street, Disney Vault 28, Marceline’s Confectionery, Disney’s Pin Traders, Anna & Elsa’s Boutique and WonderGround Gallery.

It's that "not included in DTD other than at WOD" etc part.
