Disney Cruise wedding?!?!

I thought I read somewhere that somebody got married on DCL? Is this true? Would you be willing share some deatails? Also, how does the price compare to a WDW wedding?

I don't know anything about the prices but on my cruise in December, we met a couple (in full bridal attire) who had just been married on the ship. There was also a wedding at Castaway Cay the day we were there (I was late getting off the ship, so I missed it). They also offer vow renewals. The couple we met said they planned it through the Fairy Tale Weddings department.

We're having our vow renewal on the Magic in September. Weddings must take place on Castaway Cay (cannot be performed on-board as there are technical issues with international waters, etc.) while vow renewals are done on-board by the ship's captain. Give Fairy Tale Weddings a call as they have packages for both weddings and vow renewals available during the cruises.
