Disney Cruise Out Of Barcelona

As everyone as already mentioned, another vote here for Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. La Rambla is great and you can see several Gaudi buildings very close by on your walk. Including the "Little Mermaid" apartment building. There is also a great public street/food market right off La Rambla called, Mercat de la Boqueria.

Be aware that pickpocketing is a constant risk. You don't need to let it ruin your visit. Just dress and pack smart on your outings. Leave most of your things in your hotel and minimize what valuables you carry. Use a cross-body pouch instead of a purse. Avoid being distracted by your phone and be aware of your surroundings and enjoy the sights of the city. Just make yourself as unappetizing of a target for the pickpockets as possible.

We just booked a Disney Cruise out of Barcelona. We have never been to Barcelona and we are looking for some good things to do/see before we board. Any suggestions?
We do many land trips in Europe with the Rick Steves tours. I highly recommend you get (or check out of the library) his Spain or I think he may have a small Barcelona book. Also, download his app Rick Steves Audio Europe. You can download his audio tours and do your own walking tour with Rick himself on your ear. Beware if doing that…..pickpockets know who the tourists are so it goes without saying that you should always be mindful of your surroundings and wear a money belt (hidden) with important items!
