Depends, but usually overnight. If that is your first stop from Canaveral your there the next morning. If that is your last stop on the way back you arrive at Port Canaveral the next morning. With that said there are/were cruises that had an extra day at sea on the way back. That just means the Capt cruised very slowly..
The probably could get there from Port Canaveral in about 12 hours running full steam, but usually it's longer as the ship doesn't dock until a certain time may or. may not stop there until later in the cruise with other stops along the way.
PC is further away, but you leave at 5 pm or so and get to CC and like 8 or 9 am. It's not like they have to rush there unless there's a storm in the way. I wouldn't be too worried about them speeding to get there. You are bound to feel some movement bc it's the ocean, but it shouldn't be rocking and rolling unless the seas are super rough.
Thanks We've only done a Bermuda trip in the Atlantic and had pretty rough seas on the last day. Even though we'd already increased our tips at guest services, DH added some more cash to the envelopes after seeing what the serving team had to deal with that night!
We'd like to get to Castaway Cay, though, so considering the different options to get there.
Just cruised our of Miami and have cruised out of Port canaveral several times. I found no difference in movement. First night is always a bit more motion as you cross over the Gulf Stream (I think that's what it is).

It's the Florida Current which is a fast northern current through the Florida Strait that connects to the main Gulf Stream north of the Bahamas. It is the reason why people feel so much movement on the first night.
