You could find a better way to phrase this that doesn't trivialize the actual trauma experienced by the children who were exploited in the production of the material in question.

I’m sure I’ve meet, dined, and spoken with criminals in my lifetime. Really gives me the heebie-jeebies.
I’m glad Disney takes a hard line on their employment. Even if that means they are presumed guilty at accusation and not allowed to prove they are innocent first. Would be fine with an innocent person coming back and hope Disney could make their situation a little better for the no tolerance policy.
I’m so glad we find criminals from other countries as well here in the US. Stop them before they walk into our country again. It’s a system that’s not perfect but at least it’s doing something.
There is one thing I would like to know. And that would be the head waiter and other food service staff that were escorted off. I’ve been on the Magic, I think, 5 times and and been on the the first 4 ships enough to be platinum now. Does it make any sense if I explain that the reason I want to know who these people are is to see how my personal safety radar is working?

It makes sense to feel that way, but predators are successful because they have learned how to blend in. Particularly in this case, from what I've read at this time, these guys are charged with possession of material. They may not have attempted to groom/abduct/assault anyone, and as such, there may not have ever been anything for your "radar" to detect.

ICE and CBP are under the same umbrella agency and often work together. I can almost guarantee that if something is happening on a cruise ship that both will be involved and run all things to ground while they have the chance. The articles probably got labeled as ICE due to a photo seeing ICE on a vest and that is what was assumed since it is the one in the news most often.

It's currently being reported by San Diego news source that 10 of the 27 arrested were Disney employees.

I hope this will encourage parents to keep better track of their kids. No crew member or passenger can tell if the young man holding on to the hand of the 7 year old is her parent. I have always believed there is a false sense of security and safely on cruise ships - even for adults.
