Got to expect Fantasy customers got a similar letter. Lots of logistics to work out in possibly having to transport 6000 passengers from on port to another.

Hopefully there will be a line of insurance agents (people's personal ones like disaster Gener generalist reps for companies) or other people available to help those who have car damage from parking at the Port if there are issues. I know plenty of crew that are worried about their cars being literally swamped by expected surges, and from our previous cruise our car would have been right along side.

Although how the companies would know they had someone parked there is my question. Hopefully people have the number to their insurance company - there are so many companies I cannot imagine every single one sending someone to a port just in case.

And yes - the crew has no option to park anywhere BUT ground level in the open. I know my sister had my parents call her insurance to make sure she was covered for this and the agent assured my dad that yes, this falls under "act of nature" and all she would be out is her deductible. Her car is only a couple of years old - but as long as she's safe THAT is what's important.

In TX with Rita they had generalists in spots centralised for evacuees in shelters, and they tracked down the proper insurance people in the state. I think that's what I had in my head- right after customs since there wouldn't be another cruise would be an insurance line lol
