We are planning our forth Disney cruise with our daughter and her family this year. I have always purchased a pillowcase for my grandson off etsy to drop off our customers service to be autographed. Thankfully, we were on one of the last cruises to do this last year. My question is, does anyone have any suggestions for my grandson (he is 4 yrs old) to have autographed this year? I thought about the photograph mats, but that is kind of boring for kids. We did the autograph books you purchase in the gift shop in addition to the pillowcase last year. One of the reasons I really liked about the pillowcases is we had his name on it plus the month / year and ship we were on for him to have when he gets older. Has anyone took the pillowcases around to have autographed? Did you find it hard for the characters to sign? Like I said, I welcome any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I was wondering the same thing, could I bring a mug/picture frame around to get all of them to sign?

Following! Autograph books would be pointless for my toddlers but an autographed photo mat would look lovely framed in their room :)

O my last cruise (this past New Years), people had mats in large ziplocs to bring around. I saw people with tee shirts/pillowcases and they had cardboard inside to make it easier to sign. I like the mat for the same reason I liked the pillowcase, I can write in the date of cruise first and then have them sign around it.

We just got off the Magic. We had a pillowcase for each of my kids (3 total). It didn't take that long as we had out marker out. We also had a folder inside each pillowcase so there was something for them to write against and the marker didn't bleed through. No one seemed to mind. They looked great.

Just an observation - but folks bringing their myriad of items to be autographed made the character lines dreadful! The characters are only scheduled for 30 minutes or so, and on our January Wonder cruise almost every line had to get cut off (and it was not a sold out ship). Folks had handfuls of things to be signed. I found it very annoying.

A wooden letter (first letter of their name) is really cute. We have a S and N so far. We will be getting a G signed on our next cruise!

I know I was thinking of bringing one thing, just not an autograph book, as that doesn't interest me

Oh I agree 100%!!!! Like I said we did this first autograph book last year in addition to dropping off the pillowcase at guess services. With the long lines and all the multiple things each family had to be autographed was crazy. This is why I LOVED having the opportunity to drop something off to have autographed and didn't have to worry about having anything signed (with the exception of last year). I wish they would bring this service back! I always dropped off chocolate when I dropped the pillowcase off for them doing this for us. Honestly, I would be willing to pay extra if they would do this. It would make the lines go much faster if they did this and EVERYONE would have the opportunity to meet the character and a quick picture.
