disney costumed character videos

i have heard a few people mention a video that has the disney characters in costume like they are at the parks, instead of being animated. can anyone tell me the name of it? i would like to find one for my son to help with any fear/shock of meeting them at the parks... i was also wondering what disneyworld is like in may, we are going may 1-5 2005. thanks!

There is a sing-along called Disneyland Fun I believe. It is a sing-along shot in Disneyland that shows the characters. It was shot a long time ago though- and some of the characters look different (Pooh's 'costume' had been updated and maybe a few more) But my kids never noticed the difference. There is also a Christmas sing-along with the characters- can't think of the name of it though. I think I bought mine from Amazon.com a few years ago. Good luck!

Check the pictures if the auctions have them. I think these two titles may be the same movie, but I don't know for sure.

If they are the same, then the only one I'm missing from my collection is "Happy Haunting"! Good luck with your bidding!

im pretty sure they are different, at least the pictures are, and i found listings containing both titles... ill have to see if anyone lists the songs. thanks! the titles are disneyland fun volume seven, and disneyland fun its a small world. anyone know for sure?

We showed my kids the disneyland fun video since they were toddlers. They would watch it right before bed. The last song is "When You Wish Upon A Star". At the end they would wave night-night to Mickey & off to bed they would go. It was a tradition/routine. They never gave us any problems going to bed. (I wish I could say the same now - teen years.)
One piece of advise, if I may, make the children aware that the characters:
1. don't speak,
2. hardly ever (if ever) will ride the rides with them. (I say hardly ever, only because I have seen Goofy & Max ride the brainstormer with kids!)

We have Disneyland Fun, beach party, camping, haunting and circus tapes. My oldest DD who is now 5 1/2 loved them all except never really got into the circus one. We borrowed the Flick one and also I think a Christmas one (but not positive) from the library awhile back and she didn't really get into either of those. Our Disneyland fun has a blue box and starts out with I'm Walking down Mainstreet USA.

I found my Small World, & Beach Party (along with others) at Toys R Us and Babies R Us if that helps! Wish they came on dvd for car rides!

It shows the characters and also the rides at Disneyland !!!
