Hi All! How accurate are the Disney construction projected timelines? I noticed that the Boardwalk Luna pool will be under construction next year until April. Does Disney usually stick to those projected schedules or does it usually go over time? Typically, how accurate are those projections? Thanks!

I noticed that the Boardwalk Luna pool will be under construction next year until April.

They have posted that it will be closed through April 2027. That schedule does allow for any normal weather delays but it might be extended if something major happens.

Does Disney usually stick to those projected schedules or does it usually go over time?

They are very conservative, and allow for normal issues that may come up but if the area does not close on or near January 11, 2027 then it may slip be a week or two. Just keep an eye out for a delayed closing in January that might indicated a change in the schedule.

There is no Guarantee with these larger projects.
