Disney coming to Toronto/Vancouver - anyone heard this?

Disney Parks is bringing the magic of Disney in an interactive way to 30 cities this fall and winter. Colorful vehicles roll out the fun from town squares to Times Square, featuring a massive distribution of thousands of free Mickey Mouse balloons with a chance for consumers to win a celebration vacation to a Disney Park.

Yep, it's all part of their 2009 Marketing Promotion (replacement for the Year of a Million Dreams Celebration).

Of course - they come to Vancouver 2 days after I get home from WDW - I don't think I will feel like driving an hour into Vanc to go see this after just getting home and trying to get back into the swing of things... lol.

I would assume if Disney is doing an outdoor setup, it would happen at Dundas Square at Young and Dundas. I'm sure we will hear more info Sept. 18th though.

I have looked everywhere and I cannot find any info that tells me where in Toronto they will be, Toronto is a big place lol.

Ok we are the first stop and it's on my birthday! I would love to know where it is actually taking place. Dundas Sq would be great, I would zip over on my lunch hour. Anyone with more details? Even the website doesn't say where it will be.

Thanks so much for posting that info mtmbyck. I would love to be a part of this but there is no way I am going to get my tush down to Union station for 6 am. Great opprotunity for anyone working in the downtown core though. If anyone does past by, please post here how it went and what you got to see/get.
