Does anyone collect the Olszewski shadow boxes? I have two, Pirates of the Carribbean and Splash Mountain. I decided I only want ones that have to do with rides. I never bought the Tiki Room one and it is out of print.

And I'm trying to decide if I shoudl spend the 300 bucks and get the replica of Cinderella's Castle:

I collect the Main Street Miniatures - so far, I have all of them and yes ... get Cinderella Castle. It's the ultimate!

Oh wow, that's beautiful. You should definitely get that. I think it's great to have something to collect.

Bob is making Fantasyland for Disneyland, but no plans for WDW yet.

And by the way, how do you display them?

I have clear acrylic display cases with a mirrored back.

I am getting another one to hold the new pieces.

You might want to think about joining one or both of the Olszewski Yahoo groups dedicated to this.

I know that on the Olszewski website, you can purchase the entire mainstreet platforms for the park minature pieces. Each piece fits inside perfectly and even has it set up for the items to be plugged in. Here's the link to the Disneyland platform and light kits. I think there's one for WDW as well.

Yup ... they will be releasing a WDW platform next year, but I don't have the room for it.
