I recently purchased the Disney Club Memebrship so I could get discounts when I booked the Contemporary for my uncle's retirement trip in Nov/Dec. When I called in, I was told (since we wanted two separate rooms) that the Club discount only applied to one room. The other room would be about $300.00 more.

Has anyone else ever heard of this? I haven't and have never seen anything on the discussion boards referring to this.

We were at CS last week and I booked 2 rooms using my Disney Club Discount. We had no problem, 1 room was for me and my DS and the second room was for my mom and sister.

I would call back again and try again with another cast member.

Were you trying to put the second room in your Uncle's name? You may have to put them both in your name to get the discount.

LKS is right, now that I think about it, both confirmations came in my name to me, with my mom and sister's names listed on one confirm and me and my son on the other.

Never heard of that (unless maybe they happened to have only one room left at the DC rate--they are limited). If you didn't do so, make both reservations in your name. When you check in at the front desk you can separate the bill.
