Hi I was just wondering if resort rooms are still cleaned to "covid standards" or has some of that fallen by the wayside? Do they clean rides or gondolas at all? Was that ever a thing before covid?

I admit that higher cleaning standards is a comfort to me as I slowly climb out of my pandemic anxiety. I assume sanitizer stations are mostly empty still?

Thanks. I'm prepared to cope, just curious 😆

I’m not sure if there is enhanced cleaning between guests as that has been removed from their website. I wondered the same thing when I checked the website the other day. Rooms are being cleaned every-other day.

My understanding is that the rides are no longer sanitized and that the hand sanitizer stations have been removed.

It appears everything is back to pre-2020 when it comes to cleaning except that rooms are cleaned less frequently.

As a local, I'm in the parks regularly. I've seen nothing special happening about cleaning attractions or transportation between guests.

Not sure what you specifically mean by the rooms cleaned to "covid standards," I never really noticed a difference in room cleanliness before and during Covid. Other than the TV remote was in a bag when you arrived - which is no longer the case, so I'm going to say no, they aren't still cleaned to "covid standards." Now that I'm thinking about it, there used to be a small sign in the rooms stating they focused on certain areas in the room. I did not see that in our room last week.

There are no Covid cleaning standards anymore, it is back to Pre-Covid. Bring your own wipes for the room if concerned. Bring them into the park in case you want to wipe down a seat for a meal. You will not have time to wipe down ride and transit seats.

Bring your own hand sanitizer.

Housekeeping makes beds again, if you don’t want that you’ll need to notify the front desk.

I did notice last month in March that our Grand Floridian TV remotes were still in plastic bags (sterilized and then put in plastic) in the room, which started with Covid. But other than that I did not notice anything else.

There are very few hand sanitizing stations around the parks/resorts and as far as what's being cleaned, it's anyone guess now as there are no longer "covid standards". We usually travel with some wipes to clean off the remote and usually that's the extent of my cleaning on vacation
