Disney Class Action Lawsuit?

About 4 years ago when booking our trip to WDW online using Disney website, we were given trip insurance. We didn't bother to re-book to remove the cost. Some on took Disney to court because of it. I t was decided that Disney didn't give enough notice that the trip insurance was being added. Long story short, anyone who booked fromthe web site during that period was issued a certificate for a future trip at 30% off room only rate.
We are also getting a DVD from Disney from the same class action lawsuit.
That's my understanding of it. Hope that helps

I booked a trip on-line in June of 2003. About 6 months ago I received a letter that pretty much said there is a class action against Disney Travel for not letting on-line customers know they could remove the trip insurance. I didn't even know I had trip insurance but apparently I did (that must have been part of the problem). There were a few choices for your "reward" in the settlement. I chose the 30% off future resort stays and received my certificate in the mail about 3 weeks ago. It is good until May 2007. So I guess I will have to go back now....... :teeth:
