Disney Christmas Questions

Hi all,

I have two questions about Christmas in Disney. First, I am going the week of November 6th. I know MK will be decorated since its the first week of MVMCP, but will anything else be decked out for Christmas? Second, i purchased the Memory Maker and am hoping i can use a few pics for my Christmas cards. Any cute or original ideas for Christmas pictures?

We were at Disney last year from Nov 16-23, so that's what I'll base my answers on. MK will definitely be decorated before the first MVMCP, but I don't believe the tree there will be up until after they've filmed the Christmas parade. So it may not be up yet. Epcot will probably still have F&W going on, so not much decorations there. Last year F&W ended on Nov 16, so we saw Epcot change throughout the week. At AK and HS there were decorations, but they weren't as elaborate as MK. Micky and Minnie meet in AK dressed in Christmas clothes so we used that picture on our Christmas card last year. I'm not sure how early they start wearing those clothes, though. MM should hopefully have some Christmas borders you can use, so those can work on Christmas cards too. I loved all the decorations at MK and I hope you have a wonderful trip!

We got a really nice photo at the Beach Club meeting Santa. It was not as busy as other locations. He was there around 5:30 pm on evening. Also Minnie and Mickey in their cute outfits. The chocolate carasouel was awseome also. There is also the draw of beaches and cream.. We had a reservation there. It made a really nice evening away from the crowds!

We'll be there during disneys Christmas season this year and this would make for a nice "off day" for us. Thanks for the info!

A few characters were in Christmas costumes, chip & dale in santa hats, etc. . When we were at the Beach Club around Christmas we also saw Mickey and Minnie there one evening in full Christmas outfits, so that may be a regular thing. That made a great picture. If the gingerbread house at GF is up, that could make a nice background too.

Usually the resorts put their Christmas decorations up during Thanksgiving week, so I would not expect much at resorts the 1st week of November. I know last year GF did theirs the day before Thanksgiving.
