any ideas? diff price ranges - thinking small unbreakable items so I can lug it all back home

Hi- How about ornaments? Not all are fragile. My dsds usually always bring them back for me. They have never been broken (and they are not particularly careful:) )

Magnets are an inexpensive option. Some are picture frames as well so they are good gifts for relatives.

Hope this helps:earsboy:

Just a thought on Christmas shopping at WDW...

You can purchase items and have them shipped home right at the register. I think (and correct me if I'm wrong) that the price is based on the value of the item, and not necessarily the weight. If you purchase all your gifts at one location, you can ship them home all together.

This saves in luggage room for the way home. Another major perk is that if anything breaks during shipping, WDW will replace it for no charge. I also don't believe you are charged sales tax on an item being shipped out of state (but I am not positive).

If you were looking to purchase ornaments, you could purchase them all at once at Days of Christmas and then have them shipped home. You won't even have to carry the bag around for the rest of the day!

Just my 2 cents! Enjoy Xmas shopping at WDW - we love it!!!

Do the Christmas gifts have to be Christmas related? If so, ornaments are the only gifts I can think of.

If it's not vital that the gifts be Christmas related but ONLY Disney related then here are a few suggestions:

For the adults:
Disney themed coffee mugs
Mickey Head Bottle Opener
Box of Disney gormet coffee or hot coco
Disney Themed Coasters: Set of 4 (You know, coasters that keep cup stains off of tables!)
Apparel: Disney themed T-Shirts or sweatshirts

You don't mention how old the cousin's are, but for really young children, a small plush Disney character would probably thrill them!

Keep in mind when shopping how crazy about Disney your extended family and friends are. I shopped for gifts for my in-laws and they don't like Disney. So I bought them a simple ornament, shaped like a star that had various shapes cut in it, including hidden Mickey Heads. The gift didn't shout, "I'm from Disney World!". It was perfect for them.

thanks for the ideas
DSs cousins are aged 5-12

Pencils, Pens, Tablets...

How about the long pencils with the plastic outline shapes of the characters, castle, etc. something the kids can use at school or for homework...

Some of the pens are quite attractive and would make great gifts for the teacher

plus none of this takes much luggage space

If any of the cousins are girls, there are some cute character necklaces where the pendant shows both front and back of the character. We picked up a few for the little girls in our lives, and one friend said that her daughter *loved* her Tinkerbell necklace. She would go around and show everyone, then turn Tink over and say, "Look! It's Tink's BOOTY!" :rotfl:

Pins are a cool idea for the teachers! I know that someone on another thread had mentioned them. Like the little necklaces, they're not expensive and don't take up much room :)

Some of the Xmas ornaments are like little stuffed animals, so if you have anyone who likes to collect different ones (our tree is a mish-mash of lots of different types of ornaments), those will definitely not break!

Hope that helps!

I love Christmas ornaments as presents. I try to get a new ornament anytime we go somewhere.:D

There is a store in DTD called Basin and they have the best bath soaps for relatively cheap prices. These would be cute for teachers. I brought a bunch back for my co-workers on my last trip and they loved them!

I also love anything in the Disney Christmas store. The ornaments, car antenna mickeys, personalized stockings and more!!!

Speaking of personalized stockings--
Does the Disney Christmas store have stockings that can be personalized there at the store? I have been in that store many times but have never paid attention to this detail. We have a new granddaughter this Christmas that needs a new stocking!princess:
