Disney Character Warehouse (AMS) re-opening in Burlington, WA !

My problem is I had seen quite a bit of this the last time the outlet was open in Burlington and I picked quite a bit of it up then. I'm looking forward to seeing what "new" stock they bring in later this week.

That's the same issue we had. We had seen and bought most of that stuff at previous character warehouses, so I didn't bother looking/buying any of those.

Those are great photos trodrigue. Thanks for giving others an idea of what deals they have up there.

this is AWESOME...I was just there on Saturday too, tto bad I didn't see this thread before I went, so I will have to make a note to self to go back and shop :)

Does anyone know if they will be in the Portland, OR area again soon? That's a lot closer for us (plus no sales tax!).

I checked the website to see if they were coming as well since that is only a 50 min. drive for me versus a 3 hour drive to Burlington. With the price of gas I am going to sit here and read what everyone else buys!!

I wonder if Portland, OR, did very well. Hey, any of you going to the Burlington one that could ask about Portland, OR, for us? That would be awesome!

Good idea using the souvenir book to cut out pics for scrapping! I'll probably go back this coming weekend and I might pick up some for that. They had quite a few so hopefully there will be some left.

Great minds think alike......we picked the book up on a trip to Vegas and I am using it for the same thing!

Augh, I want to go, but that's a long drive for me with my 3 year old!

On the other hand, we were actually there during the 50th celebration but bought NOTHING. It was a one-day visit, we barely had a clue that it was a big year, and we weren't quite the Disneyland fans that we, er, I, are/am now. :upsidedow So now I want to get stuff to commemorate that trip (I haven't even printed the pictures from that year, let alone that trip!)!

Why Burlington, why not Auburn? Or why not Tacoma, in a tent in the field next to my apt building? ha ha ha.

Last year I picked up a couple of the 50th scrapbook kits at the outlet. They are so cute! I only ended up using one. If I'm ever inspired I figured I could do up a book for a friend of mine who would never do one herself. Or sell it on eBay!

I'm hoping maybe they'll get in some of the cute Pirates anniversary merchandise this time around.

You rock, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

You're vey welcome! I will be going on Wednesday and will post later that evening as to what they said about Portland and what new merchandise they have.:) Thanks ADisneyPrincess for letting us know about the new items being out on Wednesday....That is really helpful! Anybody else planning on going on that day? I thought we could all put our green Mickey heads on our purse, etc. so maybe we could spot each other. :)

Oh I want to! If I go, even if I forget to transfer the mickey heads, I have a pink baggallini, so I'm still quite Dis'y. :rotfl:

I'm going to try and go close to opening on Wed. I'll try to remember to wear my lime green mickey head. I guess I should stop at HD and pick one up.:tilt:

whimper.

Does Amtrak go up there and stop right across from the outlet? (once again, ha ha):goodvibes

OK Bumbershoot! It is only 2.5 hours each way. If hubby can make do with you at DL, then he should be able to spring you for say, 6 hours, for a little Disney Shopping! Or just make it an exciting family mini vacation. Try priceline to get a really cheap hotel, and then put hubby and JR. in the pool while you hit the warehouse. You can do this!

LOL.

It's just the gas to get up there. Our car is better with gas than our old one was, but it's still a BOAT of a car. Of course, Amtrak would cost more, most likely, but at least you don't have to stop the vehicle to go to the bathroom when on a train. :upsidedow

I've managed to talk myself out of each and every outlet that's come around (since happening upon one by accident while at the Oregon coast one summer) while trying to go...so maybe by being relatively negative about thinking about it will convince me to go! :rotfl:

Just curious... what part of the coast do you go to? I live on the southern Oregon coast...

I was in town today so I stopped by to see if the new merchandise was out. I don't think it will all be out by tomorrow - there were stacks of boxes on the sales floor and the staff was working on getting them opened. While I was there they didn't put out anythinh new, it was slow going. I would wait a few more days before making any kind of a drive. I noticed some of the same merchandise from the last two times the outlet was in Burlington! I hope to see some great new stuff.

Thanks for the warning damiel. I would have hated wasting all that $$gas$$ driving up there tomorrow and not having any new merchandise to show forth. We'll be busy this weekend, so I probably won't be able to get there til next week. What a bummer:sad2:

We went camping...it was a funny little campground right in a touristy area. There was a McMenamins in town. Oh, that's a good way to look it up. Aha! Lincoln City. Devil's Lake, or something like that. We went to the outlet mall there, and there was a Disney warehouse going on.

Sadly, DS decided to get his "bounceback" sickness (ha ha, I think I've been spending too much time on the WDW forums to call it bounceback), so we won't be getting up there today!

I went to the store yesterday (Wednesday) and they had managed to get all the merchandise out. There was a lot of fun stuff! There were very few adult sized items Large, XL and XXL, however, the guy said they would be getting shipments every Monday and stuff would continue to be put out on Wednesdays. He told me they had actually expected adult stuff to arrive, so he figures the rest of the shipments will in fact have quite a lot of adult items.

I took photos inside the store so those of you who haven't gone yet can see what is there and decide if you want to go! Here's where you can find the picture. http://worldfalls.com/disney/disneystore.htm

It was definitely worth going to us. I found a ton of stuff for my daughter. I got her a great hoodie for ten bucks and a TOT shirt for ten bucks among other stuff!
