Disney Channel games

I noticed that the Disney Channel games is scheduled from April 28th-May 3rd. Has anyone gone to these before? Do you need tickets to watch? Any info would be great I know my ds loves to watch them on tv and his birthday is the 28th so I was wondering if this would be fun to do too...
