DISNEY cancelled my tours and DIDNT tell me!

Thought I would warn you!! I recently booked 2 tours - Backstage Safari and Keys To The Kingdom. I called back yesterday with my confirmation code because I wanted to change a name on the reservation (long story!). I gave the CM my confirmation code and she said "Im sorry these tours have been cancelled because there was no payment on the account!"

When I booked the tours I wasnt asked to make a payment and I had no idea that I needed to make one in advance! It wasnt until I read a thread on these boards that I was told that it was strange that they hadnt taken a payment.

I am soooooo pleased I called back....imagine turning up for a tour for them to tell you that they had cancelled your booking!

The Cm couldnt apologise enough. Im surprised that they didnt contact me and ask for payment rather than just cancel.

I just wanted to let people know who are booking tour, to make sure that the CM has taken a payment!!

Thanks for the head's up! I'm getting ready to book a KTK tour and a Family Magic tour.

How strange the CM didn't ask you for payment...probably a newbie I guess?

I did know you have to pay in advance, but I might have been stupid and assumed the CM charged it to the CC that I booked our rooms with or something if she didn't ask for a payment method.
