Disney cancelled my FP for Journey into Imagination on Christmas

I received a message from Disney yesterday that my Journey into Imagination FP on Christmas day is cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. Does this mean that the ride will be down? Disney rescheduled me for a different ride later in the day, which I changed. Have it scheduled for another day, so it's not a big deal other than times and rides I would have picked at my 60 day mark are now gone.

I'm going to guess that this may be a glitch (or because of a glitch when you originally scheduled.)

But, it is quite POSSIBLE that there is some kind of conflict with your FP+ (even a refurb, although a refurb over Christmas is unlikely) but it's just too soon to tell.

There was a thread yesterday about the same thing. There was some speculation that it is a glitch because it shows up as available for FP+ for part of the day.

On any other day a FP for JII would be sort of a waste of time anyway. I know everything is slammed on 12/25, so I supposed the attraction is much busier.

Happened to me yesterday too, have had the fastpass booked for 30 days then it got canceled on us. I still have yet to find out what is happening or why

I normally wouldn't book a FP for this either, but being Christmas I figured lines might be crazy. Many of the rides I would never find a FP needed any other time of the year, but being our 1st Christmas visit I am a bit nervous about wait times. Since it wasn't just me having received notice of this change, I will be curious to find out if it is just a glitch or if it is open. I didn't notice the alternative times when I rescheduled the ride they assigned to replace JIM. I will have to take a look again and see if I missed it, but it might be all booked.

Personally, I think you got lucky.

If there is ANY attraction at Epcot that does not need a FP, it's JII.
Yes, Christmas day is going to be very, very difficult, but...
what I am saying is, if you will be going to more than 3 attractions at Epcot, anyway, then I'd make one of them without a FP to be JII.

Use one of your advanced FP+ for anything else at Epcot and ride JII as standby.

The FP system is flawed

They redid my 10am FP for 1 pm for a ride last week

We just happened to be in area at that time and ride was operating and almost empty so we rode it
