Is there a disney bus that goes back and forth between the resorts and the sports complex?? We are thinking about staying at the Pop Century and going to a few Braves spring training games. Thank You.

Take any bus to MGM then on the far right of the staging area in the direction of the main parking lot you will see a sign for buses to WWoS .This is the only place and they run every 20 to 30 mins.

This is how you get to the Wide World of Sports when going to the Braves Spring Training games.

When going to Wide World of Sports take the Disney/Mgm bus from your resort to Disney/Mgm Studios then transfer to the Wide World Sports Complex bus from the Outside Bus Charter lot #11.

When the baseball game is over if at Night after 8 pm go to bus stop at Wide World of Sports, a bus will pick you up and take you to the Downtown Disney bus station where you will be able to change to the Bus route going to your resort. Note the Disney/Mgm bus does not run past 8 pm but Disney will normally have that bus go to Downtown Disney during Baseball games nights only.

If the game gets out before 8 pm then you will be able to goto Disney/Mgm Studios to change to your resort bus route.

Note this is how it was done this past year and in years past but Disney could decide not to have the bus run past 8 pm, I not saying that it will be that way but just be prepared to have to take a taxi back to your resort. :santa:

Another option, at least from Pop to WWoS, is a taxi. Yes, it costs money vs. Disney's free transportation, but it's a short - and therefore relatively cheap - ride.

We usually like Disney transportation. We don't mind waiting a bit for a bus, but the wait for a bus back to MGM after an afternoon Braves game last spring was awful!! Way too many people for the number of buses. I think we waited over an hour. Now, there was a cheer competition going on at the same time and that probably was a large part of the problem.

The bus to the game wasn't too bad, but it was packed. My advice would be to see if there are any other events going on at WWS and if there are, take a taxi, at least on the way home. We'd been told by another family that the a taxi back to CSR cost them under $10. By the time we decided to give up on the bus, the taxis were gone.

Otherwise, we had a great time at the game.
