Disney Buses - How late?

Hi all,

My fiance and I plan to visit PI on one of the nights during our July honeymoon. Can anyone reassure me that the Disney buses will be in operation after PI closes? I don't want to be stuck in DD when our hotel is at ASSp.

the last bus leaves marketplace (area where stores/shops are) at midnight.

the second stop is by planet hollywood and called the west side.
last bus that leaves there is 2:00 am.

we missed the midnight bus in october and walked over to the other one.
got there at 1:55. we made it.

we didn't pay attention to the time and the bus driver when we got off the bus when we arrived there. it was announced on the bus about last bus departure from dtd.

So then we do have to conscious of time or else it's a long walk to ASSp. Darn! I like not having to wear a watch or worry about things like that.

What time does PI close? 2:00am? I would think they would have busses running after closing time for at least a 1/2 hour. It doesn't make sense to have the last bus leave right at closing time. Maybe Tyler can help with this question.

all i can tell you is what happened when i was there mid october.

the last bus left marketplace at midnight. i missed it, got there at 12:20 am and was told to go to west side for the bus.

went to the clubs but made it to west side by planet hollywood for the last bus which was at 2:00 that morning.

maybe the busses run later at different times of the year, but thats the way it was for us last month.

if you miss the bus, taxis are available.

From my experience, the last bus leaves the Pleasure Island/West Side stop when Pleasure Island indicates an All Clear.

Pleasure Island officially closes at 2 am, but the last shows are usually over at 12:30 am and last call is at 1 am, so it is a rare evening when folks are still on the island all the way till 2am.

Only on 1 occasion, has the PI security folks had to tell a group of us that we needed to head on out. It was about 10 minutes after 2am We were having such a good time talking with each other that evening. There were 2 buses waiting for us. These buses were marked Special. When we arrived at the bus stop, they asked what resort we were heading to, and directed us to a bus. The bus I was on stopped at Contemporary, then went to Coronado Springs, then dropped me off at All-Stars. Some of my friends were staying at Old Key West and the Disney Institute Villas, they were directed to the other bus.

Most of the time, we leave shortly after the Hoopla (HOOOPLAAAA!!!) at Adventurer's Club.
