Disney bottle straps?

On my last trip to WDW (back in 2001), I bought this really cool bottle strap. It had an adjustable part at the end, and it could be fastened around the top of a water bottle. The strap itself was long enough to sling over my body. The entire thing was pretty small, and when I was done using it, I could easily put it in a pocket.

Fast forward over 7 years, and I can't find the thing anywhere in my house. Does Disney still sell these? If so, where in the parks can I find one? Are they still cheap ($3 or $4)?

Yes, they do...I just came back today and bought one on the first day of our trip. If I remember correctly, it cost $3.75. I remember seeing them at all the parks except for Animal Kingdom, so I'm sure AK has them and my eyes were glazed over, so I didn't see them...

The answer is yes to your question about the straps. They can be purchased at vendors (carts) that just sell beverages and popcorn type items in the parks. I have one from every park. I usually give them as gifts for people. It's something I can afford.

Thanks! I'm glad they still sell those. We went to an outdoor festival last Saturday, and I was looking all over for mine. They're SO handy.

Question about these. How are they themed for each park? Is the park name in the neck strap in some way? I was thinking about you saying as a gift item. These would be great for that and wouldn't kill the bank account!

Each theme park (Disney) has its own design. The design vary but it is usually the length of the strap. Yes the are great gifts.

Does anyone know the colors and designs of each park? I often use the old one I have as a strap for my camera. If I know I'll be taking lots of pic, I want it around my neck, not having to take it out of our bag everytime! But, a new one would be nice!

MK - red with squares of the fab 5 pics
E - black with flags of the different countries in the showcase

I forget the other two , but I think AK is green and HS is blue.

We use ours to attach sippy cups or bottles to our stroller. Haven't lost one since.

How did you attach it to your camera?

Okay, you know how on the camera there's usually a little place on the side where you can attach the strap that usually comes with the camera(at least on the point and shoots I have had)? Well, I usually push the smaller end of the bottle strap through that little hole and then pull the bigger strap part through the little loop I make with the smaller end of the strap that I pulled through the camera strap holder. I really hope that makes sense! Let me know if not, I'll try to explain better. I've also attached it to the short wrist strap at the part of the strap attached to the camera. That way I can hang it from my neck or just use the wrist strap if I feel like it for a while. The first time I did it I attached it to the end of the wrist strap but it was pretty long that way. Either way works, just what's most comfortable for you in regards to where the camera hangs on you. I always like it to be attached to me somehow, I'm afraid I'll drop it, lol.

Thanks! I guess they haven't changed in a while, I have the red one already, go it a long tme ago. I don't think I really cared for the one from Epcot. Maybe I'll try to check out the DHS one.
