I'm looking for a guide to Disney for kids. I think my 8 year old would love it, especially since DH has a ton of Disney guides, but they are way above DS, so I wanted to get him his own for the plane ride. Anyone know of any? I can't seem to find it online, although I haven't really dug deep yet.

We liked Birnbaum's. Lots of colorful pictures, reviews from other kids on the rides, and some "did you know" type info.

However, I've always wanted to get Guide to the Magic for Kids (google Guide to the Magic). It looks like a lot of fun and can be used as a journal while you are there.

We have used both, but ds prefers the Guide to the Magic. It's a great journal. If you just want lots of information then Birnbaums is better.

Sorry to hijack, but which do you think is better for a three year old? I want something with lots of pictures that I can look at with her to prepare her for the trip.

I'm thinking Birnbaum's. Google "Guide to the Magic" and see what you think, but the pages seem a little too "busy" to me for a 3 yr old. Birnbaum's is a little simpler.

I'm not familiar with Guide to the Magic. But when my daughter was younger she loved Birnbaum's. Ditto for my friend's son.

Thanks, Birnbaum's sure is a whole lot cheaper and she doesn't need all the journaling and stuff in the other. I think I'll go with Birnbaum's.

My family and I are diehard Birnbaum fans :lovestruc. We use both the adult and children's versions every year, and although I'll be heading off to college this summer and my brother is in middle school, looking at the kids version of Birnbaum's is a tradition for us every year as the trip gets closer. Maybe I'm biased, I would definitely go with that one! :thumbsup2

We went with the Birnbaum's. He is saving it for the plane ride though... Thanks for the input!
