Disney+ Bands and Over 18

I'm going on a cruise in December with my daughter who is 19. She often gets asked by cast members to see her card when she is in 18+ areas. Does anyone know if the Disney+ bands somehow indicate that a person is over 18 or will she also need to carry around her card in addition to having the Disney+ band in case she is asked to prove her age?

That is a really good question. There's not way to tell that someone is over 18 using a band just by looking at it. You'd have to scan it, and I doubt that random cast members carry something around to do that. She'd probably have to carry her card around, and then what's the point of having the band other than some slight convenience in not having to pull it out to open your door or pay for items?
