Disney awards?

We just began planning for a Disney vacation in October of 2003. Thanks to the great "How to" thread at the top of this forum, I registered for several rewards programs I was previously unaware of.

I'm not new to reward programs, so I understand the concept. I've been doing MyPoints and Memolink for years. I was also a real Freeride fanatic in the "good old days".

Anyway, I was able to register for and begining earning points for all programs except Disney Awards. It allowed me to register, I received the email and validated my account, however I am unable to earn any rewards.

Is there something wrong with the site? Am I doing something wrong?

Can you be more specific...what are you doing exactly?

You didn't say when you registered but I have a feeling that you registered with Disney awards during the time there was a glitch in the computer data base toward the end of august and first part of september.....for some reason the data base did not keep new registries along with some other problems, BUT no fear we can get this straightened out if thats the problem.

just go back to DA site : http://www.disneyawards.com

It has come to my attention that people who registered shortly before the site went down, were some how purged from the database.

Shaking my head. If it isn't one thing it is another. I have a copy of all members & their points from 8/28 just before the site went down and I noticed that people are list there but are no longer in the database at all.

So if you are unable to log in please take a few minutes to reregister with the site. I apologize for the inconvenience. I do have point balances so when you reregister do so as a returning member and your points will be deposited into your account as soon as I get the chance.


be sure when you reregister that you also register with ez boards as that is where you will be able to keep up with new info on doing DA.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Busy, busy weekend

I'm not sure what the problem was when I initially registered with and tried using Disney Awards for the first time.

I was able to successfully use the site for the past two days, so all appears fixed.

Thanks for your help! I look forward to learning lots on these boards and appreciate the support I've received.
