My family, 10 of us total, are going to Disney World November 21 - 27. I am wondering what the parks will be like at that time of year and if there are special events.
Candelight Processional at Epcot starts November 26. The Osborne family lights will be displayed at MGM starting on the 24th. More information on both of these can be found either on the WDW site, or at www.allearsnet.com. Also, the majority of the holiday decorations will be up by Thanksgiving and they are truly beautiful!
We'll be there the 20th - 27th with 12 of us! Looking forward to a wonderful trip.
We were there for Thanksgiving a few years ago and it was wonderful. We had a great meal at the Cape May. THey had the usual buffet but they added Thanksgiving items too. Most Christmas decorations were up and we got to see the Osbourne lights. Weather was great for the parks but a little cool for swimming. My kids swam but I only got in a few times.
HI! Welcome to the DIS!
We went over Thanksgiving this past year and had a blast! We chose to stay in EPCOT on Thanksgiving day ... just b/c we had heard it was usually the least crowded on the holiday. We ate in Morroco only b/c someone in the party who was having a bday that trip wanted to eat there. Get your priority seating soon for your "thanksgiving meal" regardless of where you want to eat that day! None of the parks were that crowded until the day before Thanksgiving! Have a great trip!
