My husband, myself and my 3 boys (ages 3,6, and 9) are planning a Disney vacation for next year, March or April. We were considering going in March and taking the boys out of school to avoid the mass crowds during the week of spring break, but with March also being peak season have any of you noticed a big difference in the size of crowds wether going before spring break or during spring break. I would love not having to take the kids out of school if the crowds are going to be the same! Thanks so much.

Everyone's spring break is different! We are going on our Spring Break this year...in March! I am assuming the crowds will be ablout the same regardless, with the exception of it will get worse at Easter, then back to just being crowded!:crowded:

We are living dangerously this year! We are going for our Spring Break next week (@Pop!!) and then back for the last weekend of the month, which I'm finding out is supposedly one of the most crowded.

Crowds don't usually bother me, but I'll be sure to let everyone know how they were.

But if you are going to take them out of school, if you can swing the last week of February or first week of March, it shouldn't be too bad. It wasn't this year.

Have a great trip!!

If you are considering Spring break to be around Easter, then keep in mind that Easter is in March next year. That means at least 2 really crowded March weeks. Spring break for colleges and some schools start at the beginning of march and go all through the month. I looked at a site that showed which colleges went when, and the 2 middle weeks of March had the most colleges off then, But still alot were off the first week as well.
You might be better off, crowd wise, to go in April next year, AFTER the Easter crowds have died down a bit.:)
