Hi everyone! I am new to this messageboard. I am leaving in a few days to go on my second WDW christmas vacation. I am very excited. Any suggestions from anyone? Is the candlelight processional worth it? Gary Sinse is going to be the narrator of the one we are going to. We are also going to see Fantasmic for the first time. I want to get enough guts up to ride Mission Space and Rockin rollar coaster. I've heard alot of sick people getting off mission space. :cool1: 9 more days!!! And counting!!!

You know, the thing DH and I really enjoyed was going to the Dolphin, sitting on the couch just staring at their fabulous tree and listening to the pianist play Christmas songs. The kids loved it too, especially watching the train go around the tree. They also got their face painted while there.
Then, there's the normal stuff, MVMCP if you can. Osborne lights.

The CP is great. We saw it in '01 with Blair Underwood. If you are doing the package, you will get seats, but the line can still be long. I'm a terrible ride chicken, but I love Mission Space. I think most who get sick on it are prone to motion sickness anyway. The key is do as Gary Sinise tells you in the pre show! Look at the screen, don't turn your head and don't close your eyes. I've found that if you do that, there is almost no spinning sensation. RNRC is still one I haven't gotten the courage to do, but I understand it's really smooth. I also hear you really want to keep your head back!

Make sure you get to Fantasmic early (unless you are doing the dinner package).

We love the CP. It has become a family tradition to dine at LCdF, then see the CP. Since we are also going to see Gary Sinise, I'm assuming that you will be there for the holiday. I would definitely recommend booking the package. There probably won't be too many stand-by's admitted, during that time. Have a great trip! Maybe we'll bump into you. :crowded: :)

Holiday Suggestions:

1. CP, this is a dont miss show. If you dont leave in the holiday spirit nothing will get you there. It is worth the extra $$ to do the CP dinner pkg. You get dinner, reserved seating at the show and a small merchandise discount.

2. MK Tree Lighting. We go early, a little before five to view the emotional flag ceremony and then watch the cute show that follows for the lighting.

3. Osbourne Lights, Though they are not the same since they moved them to NYC street they are still pretty good.

4. Yultide Tour, This special tour gives you a behind the scenes look at how they decorate for the holidays. You visit three parks, a resort and the Disney Xmas warehouse. Just something fun and different to do.

5. Resort Tour, Visit some of the resorts. GF is great in the evening with the music, gingerbread and roasted chestnuts. FW can be fun too. Take the hayride which will give you a good view of the decorated campsites. The campers go all out including annimation and music.
