Comics 2 Games, a collectibles store based in Kentucky, is hosting a sketch card event with all money raised going to the American Cancer Society. Some of the top artists in the industry have contributed work to this worthy cause.
If you dont know what a sketch card is, heres a brief explanation:
When you buy a pack of trading cards, nowadays they insert autographs and the like. What theyve done is have artists do an original sketch on a blank card, and the company in turn will insert that original artwork into the packs. So instead of pulling a card of a mass-produced image, collectors pull original artwork!
For this event, artists were free to draw whatever they wanted on 1-6 cards for Comics 2 Games to auction off. The subject matter is all over the place, but I wanted to make everyone on the DIS Boards aware that the cards I did were based off imagery from my favorite place, Walt Disney World.
