Disney App and linking kids

I’ve searched but can’t find an answer. I’m trying to link family traveling with me. My sister is linked. I see her but I don’t see my nieces (plans managed by my sister). She’s been on hold for over 2 hours using the chat option. I told her I’d get an answer here quicker than from Disney lol.

A little back history—we traveled together long ago and I see her kids but they appear to be old accounts—not the same ages and no icon character that she sees. I can’t delete them. App won’t let me.
