I'm so excited! I am sort of sad because that week will be my Senior Year of high school and I will be cramming for exams that whole week and graduating 9 days after.
Since you know about this well ahead of time, you should be able to plan it out really well.
In grad school, I decided to go to a U2 concert in the other part of the state, the night before a very important and difficult exam. So I adjusted my study schedule to make up for that. Started early. I did study in the car on the way there (went with friends who had a car), but once we got there I put my notes away and just enjoyed the concert. Slept on the way back. Got home, slept. Woke up, took the exam, and did very well!
I'm sure you're closer to a theater than I was to the other side of the state I was living in at the time, it will be easier for you. Even if you are one of those who camp out the night before, you can still adjust your study schedule for it. That's...if your parents will let you. That's the convenience of grad school (and college if you go away to school), no parental oversight, LOL...but again, you have plenty of time to really work on that organization and show yourself to be trustworthy when it comes to planning out your study schedules! Good luck doing both!
