Disney and Virgins current offers end today, 10th July, wonder what's next?

Ends today, 10th July - Virgins current lower fares to USA (from £444 to MCO), also Disney's free dining and 10-35% off their rooms, wonder what's coming next - higher, lower or similar offers?

If they are smart they won't extend it today, they'll end it and then maybe restart it again next week.

I read in the paper the other day that often holidays prices go down after a sale (this was holidays in general not WDW ones).

As of 6.30 this morning Virgin flight prices have increased back to pre-sale prices but there's no change as yet to the Disney offers with the free dining.

It's still promoting on the Disney Deals web page "Create precious family memories - offer ends today, don’t miss out!"

With Disney adding to their web page, "don’t miss out!" it would seem to indicate that the free dining offer will not be ongoing, so will be interesting to see if that's what happens?

The discounted rooms of up to 35% now ends on July 20th.

The free dining has now gone and the offer for discounted rooms is still showing however the end date says 10 July - Room Discount Offer

And I have priced up our stay for next July and the 35% discount wasn't actually a 35% discount - it was closer to 30%!

When I checked this morning and clicked on "See more details of this great Disney deal!" the end date showed 20th July, but now I can't find it.

Hopefully we will see more changes on the web site over the coming few days-weeks, as we are banking on that.

As for the 35% not being 35% and quite a bit less, surely that must be some sort of miss selling and worth checking. But there again it could have been up to 35% for certain periods of the year?

Just looked at what discount we got for this next trip, they were advertising 42%.
Rack rate $7,610 (10 nts @ $330, 21 nts @ $315 + 12.5% tax) for 21 nights at OKW, converts @ $1.55 to £4,910

Disney wanted £136/nt (less discounts, giftcard & Quidco) = £2,856
42% off £4,910 = £2,847 which is more or less correct

I booked with Complete Orlando for £2,478 (no discounts, giftcard or Quidco) = almost 50% off rack rate.

Maybe they some how take an average of all dates, all sized rooms.
However they do it, 30% or 35% isn't enough to tempt me again.

typical, yesterday I was sat thinking "should I go for it just incase". Ah well, wasn't meant to be...I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed that they decide to re-release the offer or come up with a new one in a few weeks or so. Pretty please Disney?

Had a wee mosey on over to the Disney website to see what was happening and if there had been any offers updated since yesterday. There is 10% discount on selected resorts...better than nothing

They can't be combined, but they are better than those on the UK site at the moment. Might have to wait until August 1st now for hopefully better offers. .......
