Am I too organized for wanting to write down every attraction and where. Does anyone have a made out agenda that I can take notes from. I was thinking of creating something in excel. Is this overboard.

Now mind you Im not following it to a T but its just to get an idea on where the main spots we want to go. I know Disney has the customized maps but I the site does not seem to work so I thought of making something up myself. any wbsites outthere that have something similar?

I am going to move this to our Disney Tips Board.

I don't know if this is what you were thinking of but Passporter's has a kit that has an agenda, planning tips, and even a section for journaling your trip and keeping souvenirs.

I'm not 100% sure of the name of it, but I'm sure if you just type in "Passporters" on amazon's site you'll find it. (I also know that they have them at Barnes and Noble, I bought mine there!)

thank you so much I thought of barnes and noble. i'll pay them a visit tomorrow. i wanted to pick up a book on disney - library didnt have any.

DW uses an excel spreadsheet to list the following information, she doesn't go as far as to list the rides but we go 3 times a year so we generally know what we like to go on.

Dates
Park hours
Extra Magic Hours-she puts the hours in italics and indicates morning or evening
Parade times
Fireworks Times
Restaurants and ADR times/confirmation numbers

She then goes and color codes each park per day to show the expected volume, and bolds the park(s) she wants to be in each day.

We just got a MAC so she hasn't converted it over but she has and updates a copy at work.

This is exactly what I do and it works great. I provides all the real information you need at a glance but not enough to be OCD about planning. I know some people plan which rides they ride when but that is too much for me. We know what rides we want to ride. We just plan which park to start in each day and where our dinner ADR is and the rest just happens.

I do track all the stuff as pp. I simply do a day to day format in excel. Even if you have minimal experience with excel you can do it. Basically park hours, ADR & confirmation numbers, and times of events we don't want to miss. I also include important ph numbers, parade times, and emh at the bottom. Works great for me.
