Do you think these hours will be extended through October? We’re in our 70’s and don’t want to navigate the big crowds and heat!!

I doubt it, the Halloween party will kick in, then the Christmas party... Maybe next year they will try this again if enough people bought into this scam. $125 for 3 hours.
Any of you 'old timers' remember when we use to get the 3 hours for $5?

It’s 95$ for DVC members and AP holders
At 73 and 78 we’d gladly pay it to avoid the crowds and lines and heat!
We can’t do
Much more than 3-4 hrs in a park anymore!
Getting old ain’t for sissies
I won’t even ride Space Mountain or Rick and Roller too hard to get in and out of!!!

I stopped riding space mountain years ago. Too embarrassing at the end of the ride trying to get up out of the vehicle. :rotfl2:

Same problem getting out of space mountsin
2 bad knees and nothing to grab onto to get out of rock and roller coastr!
Top bar moves and side of ride are too low to push myself up
Just got a new knee in April but still not going to try them
Last time on RNR some teens waiting for the next ride were yelling to their friends and pointing, “LOOK AT THAT OLDLADY!”
SO NO MORE ON THAT ONE!

Yes, we do! And boy do we miss them - talk about an empty park!

Right there with ya! Glad to know I’m not alone!

As a fellow "senior", I totally agree!

I've been to 3 of these at MK and would do it again in a heartbeat.. well worth the $95!

This trip, I'm set to go to MM at AK on the 22nd and am so disappointed that DAH at MK is the same night. Wish it was a different day... I would have been happy to do both.

The only one I can see being extended through October is AK. MK won't have it during party season and highly unlikely for DHS to extend it with SWGE open. Just my opinion, of course.

MK DAH during "party season" is not totally unheard of. Last year there were two during MNSSHP season (8/30 & 9/20) and three during MVMCP season (11/26, 12/3, 12/10).

For this year, there are already six scheduled during MNSSHP season (8/22, 8/29, 9/5, 9/12, 9/19, 9/26). TBD if any get added after that.

The one calendar "mystery" that remains is why Disney didn't schedule Wednesday PM EMHs at MK in October. It was either to offset the daily AM EMHs being offered that month, or they have something in mind, such as offering DAH on those nights. My guess is it was just to offset the abundant AM EMHs, but hard to say. The DAH trend is certainly up.

I do think there's a strong possibility DAH dates will be added at DAK through October and the end of the year. That one seems like a safe assumption to me.

Low likelihood of anything at DHS until the dust settles with SWGE, probably sometime well into next year (just my guess).

So they raise the price of the regular tickets, then cut back the hours so they can sell after hours tickets. The mouse is get too greedy. Just one more reason to think about selling, they really don't care much about the customer.

Thanks for asking this. I was wondering about October myself and was hoping for dates when we’re there but it’s not looking good. Going in at 7 pm and staying till midnight or 1 am is great for us oldies as well. No crowds, heat or long hours of waiting. I’d buy tickets for each of the parks this way if it was possible. We’ve been to the parks many times so this is a good way to visit for us now.

DH and I were just discussing this topic @ dinner. Staying at resort and only doing after dark events. We’ll see what we think of our first one in September.

Our APs expire in October and we don’t plan to renew. I’m considering just doing a couple of DAH events on the next short visit just to get my parks fix. My daughter and I went in April and did both MK and HS DAHs. If they had had an AK DAH, I would have done that, too. It really enhanced our visit, being able to easily access headliners with minimal wait and not having to stand in the heat. It also allowed us the slow down during the day and enjoy F&G instead of rushing from one FP to the next and refreshing the app repeatedly in search of that 4th or 5th FP.

And yes, @BillPA , I do recall E-ticket nights at the MK. We did one with our kids when they were tweens back in 2004. The park was practically empty but a lot fewer attractions were open. IIRC, all of Fantasyland was dark. It really was only the E-ticket rides.
