I now have a Disney adult and we are eating at Garden Grill (and many other restaurants, paying OOP). I know I will have to pay the adult price for him but will they let him have the child's meal? Has anybody done this?

I know at other restaurants paying OOP he can order off the child's menu and at buffets pay as an adult but choose whatever. But what about at Garden Grill Family Style? Can he pay as an adult and have the child's food?

Thanks :goodvibes

Most likely they will but unfortuantely you will still be paying the adult price even if he eats a childs plate since the restaurant serves "family style" and the entrees are not ordered al la carte.

DS is also a picky eater, we ate at the Garden Grill while he was still under 9 Nothing served "family style" appealed to him but he did like the childrens offerings. I'm thinking it was chicken nuggests.

Yes he can. When we went last summer it was just DH and me, and I REALLY wanted macaroni and cheese. I obviously paid adult prices (29 years old-can't fake a 20 year difference lol) and they still let me have it. I actually also got the kids dessert too lol!
