I'm getting a ton of last minute details done for the Salon, so that's pretty much taking up all my free time!

Spent the last two days doing absolutely no massages at the new salon, so I'm a little frustrated and tomorrow starts my other 5 day work week Wish y'all were going to be down the same time as the rest of us Maybe we can all plan a girls meet and greet weekend at the World in the next year or two?!?!?!

The salon has only been open 3 weeks only. The owner and main stylist has advertised the salon to all her clients. The Salon has a facebook and it working on a website. She's done a few small ads in the local paper, but she's fixing to run two half page ads. The chamber of commerce will do a "ribbon cutting" in a few weeks, and the new attorneys office next door is including us in their open house. In 2 weeks a big christmas show is happening at one of the casinos (like a shopping extravaganza) and 1000 ppl get hand out bags, and she has paid to put a stuffer in all the bags. But she hadn't started advertising the massage till Friday of last week since we had formulated all of our plans and agreed on everything till then. So it's just going to take a bit till ppl realize the salon is there and there's also an LMT. We're on one of the two main roads in our town, and the other is closed atm because they are redoing a bridge. She's going to give me her client list, so I can do a discount mailing type thing.

We could all just go for like a 3 day ladies weekend! Everyone submit their top 3 restaurants to eat at, and we could all vote and make some ADR's and then just flow and hang out and um drink around the pool and talk about DISNEY! and I'll use the phrase one of the girls in the salon uses... I'm a "young old fogey".

Good luck getting some business in the door! I hope some of the new advertising strategies work for you. A new business will always take time to get a reputation and get people to know aobut it, but as long as you do a good job, you'll have people saying good things about you and hopefully the business will grow.

That's my hopes as well Andy! I'm staying at my other job until that happens though. So I'm sadly working 7 days a week at the moment.

Thanks! No problem. I'm surprised I'm getting caught up everywhere I am on here LOL. Alex doesn't allow me any time on the computer except at night unless I'm at work.

That's my hopes as well Andy! I'm staying at my other job until that happens though. So I'm sadly working 7 days a week at the moment.

I want to tell you to slow down, but I know you need to do both. Praying things will pick up at the salon...sounds like they should.
