Followed you over from my PTR! Glad I came...I love all of your pictures! Sounds like you have a lot on your plate in addition to this trip. I hope that this trip will bring some joy to your mother at Christmas, she deserves a little.

I love that you are putting your foot down about the CP ADR...I have one prior to park opening (actually 2, but that is another story)...I want time to enjoy walking down mainstreet without thousands of fellow addicts blocking the view or the stroll!

I love the updates with the old Disney pictures. I'm sure there are a lot of great memories in those pictures for you. I always like seeing pictures like that. It always makes me think about our past trips growing up.

Yeah I wish I could remember all my trip dates and where we stayed at all of them... but there are just too many! The CM this morning was like is this number right? 31? My mom just laughed.

TY. Yes she does. She was dancing around while on the phone with the CM this morning.

Yes'm I did! I'll post about it tonight. We took my grandmother to the antique malls and lunch for her birthday. So I'll have a really nice post for tonight.

Ok so I was bad and was tired last night since I had gotten up before 6 yesterday to do the reservations.

We are officially booked for POP for December 17th-21st with Free Dining. Mom still wants me to try to talk my boss into letting me leave the night of the 15th. Won't know if that's a possibility until November 1st or so when the mall gives out the November/December holiday hours.

SO yesterday we took my grandmother for lunch and to the antique district yesterday to go shopping for her birthday. She had a blast. I think she enjoyed spending the time and seeing it all through Alexa's eyes the most. (We talked about asking them to go with us. They haven't been since I was about 10, but my grandfather is on some kind of meds for his heart [preventive type stuff since he already had a heart attack], and Dad said he was looking REALLY frail last time he was up to visit a week or two ago. So mom doesn't know if he could handle it all. )

Don't have pics from the actual shops. But I do have some food porn!
Taste of Louisiana restaurant. I forgot to take them till almost done lol.
Crawfish cornbread dressing with crawfish ettoufee over it. Quiche madeline on the side.

Sweet Potato Bread Pudding.

Great resort choice. There's just something about POP, but I really enjoy it there. Their food court is really good too.

Congratulations on getting your reservations and I hope that it does work out that you can sneak away a few days early. More Disney days is always a good thing.

We hope it's good. We've done ASsP and ASM about 20 times between the too and it looks like a newer, nicer version of the all-stars.

Thank you for the Magic. Yeah I work Thursday through Monday, so I don't get much time with my daughter. I don't want to pull her out of school the days I am off and disrupt her. I do sometimes on a Tuesday and we'll do a mommy and me day... but this would be a mommy and me week.

She's having problems with the "we're not leaving for 4 months" thing. This morning Joseph was at the house when I left to bring her to school, and as soon as we rolled out of the driveway she started freaking out crying saying "No No No Jo Jo's going to Disney with us. Go back and get him." So we're going to try out a poster board calender that she can put a sticker on each day to count down. Maybe she'll be able to visualize that it's still a while til we leave.

I'm sure you'll love it. Like I mentioned, the food court there is really good and I thought the bus service there was excellent since POP doesn't share buses with another resort (if you'll be using them). As far as rooms go... it's a hotel room. No better, no worse than another one IMO.

Sweet. For sure we're using the buses. Mom says she's paying for the use with the hotel room. Why use our car and have to find parking and walk a million miles and use the gas, etc.

I think we're going to bring a sleeping bag, and my brother and I will trade out every night since he and my mom are both bed hogs and flip around everywhere.

Good looking plans. The early morning breakfast at CP will be awesome. There's nothing quite like walking down an empty mainstreet. Looks like our plans overlap on the 19th, depending on how late we get to Epcot and how early you leave it.

Yeah, I'm sure he'll jump on the wagon for next time. But he is actually finishing massage school in October and will be working all my Christmas shifts that week. I think him working for me is one of the only reasons my boss is letting me go.

She she's a mess. But we think she's adorable too.

I'll have to find a picture of me, mom, and my dad's mom. We look like copies of each other. People always think my mom belongs to her MIL and that I'm my grandma's daughter lol.

My thoughts exactly. And that's exactly how I want her to see my favorite place for the first time. We could always do a Dis meet out by the pool or something too. I think quite a few ppl are going our same trip dates.

... I made my grandfather ride it 28 times in one trip... well made isn't the right word. He told me he'd ride it till I got tired.

I've been on an over a week hiatus... works been a bit crazy with all the back to school sales and whatnot. Jumping over to your PTR to catch up with you!

Maybe we can do a dis meet one night!

I am so sorry for the long hiatus. Work the last two weeks has been crazy for me and for Buddy, so time has either been spent at work, doing laundry, spending what little time we can together, or just sleeping from work exhaustion.

I think I'm going to bring the "Picture a day" thing back 30 days before we leave... or maybe just do it in November since its a 30 even month.... well see.

So I got a little creative and finished that "old pictures" collage I was making.

But we had a problem.... Every time she would leave the house she would freak out because either my mom or Joseph or I wouldn't be with her in the car. The tears would start and these words would come out "No NO NOOOOO go back go back! Jo Jo (or Mommy or GiGi) isn't here! Go back and get them now! We can't leabe them! They going to Disney too" (Her exact sentence verbatim. She's been speaking in paragraphs and using pronouns and contractions since she was 18 months old.)
So...

this was born on the back of the collage! She gets to put a sticker on every night!

And another thing taking up my time....

Teacup Candles in assorted scents. Anyone want one?!?!?! Great for teachers present!

And the last thing taking up ALL spare time besides the munchkin ....

I was making the roses for Alexa's hair... and a friend saw them and decided they would look amazing as wedding flowers! So she bought all the ribbon and I'm making them as her wedding present! So her bouquet, 4 bridesmaids, 8 boutonnieres, and 2 corsages. She's lucky she's a good friend! But a girl I went to high school with saw them and decided she wants to see how it turns out and might commission me to do hers!
