Disney 2000 pin

I was looking around ebay, trying to find some more pins for my two DD to trade on our upcoming trip, and I noticed that one seller had a large lot of a black background 2000 pin. I recognize it as a real Disney pin because we bought it when we were there in 2000. However, looking at the sellers feedback, it seems this person has sold thousands of this same pin. Anyone have any ideas? Huge overstock? It seems like these pins must be everywhere. Would they still be tradeable? I still have mine and wear it every now and then because I think it is a nice looking pin. Thanks for any feedback.

Take a pass. It's my understanding that many of the CM's keep that pin on their lanyard so they don't have to accept it.

I never thought of that. I forgot that if they had a pin already, they could refuse to trade. Thanks so much for the information. I still wonder why there are so many out there. They must have really overestimated the demand.
