Congratulations to Elizabeth Smith for turning Donald Blue, and to Twilight Sparkle, me, and the TEAM for turning Goofy Orange!

Goofy first appeared as as character called Dippy Dawg in 1932's Mickey's Revue. Later that year he was reimagined as Goofy in a short called The Whoopee Party.

The Disney100 celebration centers around the Disneyland Resort, which kicked off the 100 Years of Wonder celebration on January 27, 2023.

The color of the celebration is platinum, and the Disneyland Resort is filled with platinum decorations.

I did get 15 more minutes before bed last night with some yoga. And I have a 10 minutes today from a little walking break at work. Again, I hope to get more minutes later, but it will probably be tricky. I have a class at the hospital followed by my zoom birth class, so I'm going to be busy from 3:30 until 9:00, probably.

Really looking forward to a complete rest day tomorrow! No barn, no running. Heading to the theatre instead.

Mickey & his friends have special outfits for the Disney100 celebration. At DLR, they do a performance in front of the castle and then march with the Disneyland Band down to Town Square. Here are some photos of their special outfits from that mini-parade.
