Ya know? It was all good. Nothing was bad about the food, but like Ellen said, it was all so rich and creamy and HEAVY.......

Glad I tried Narcoosee's but I wouldn't race back there again.

And our server???? Applebee's at best.....

It was very nice though to just step outside for fireworks and the ELP (never saw it called that before!!!!) and the ambiance was nice there, sitting out over the water.

What WAS the deal with that family behind us??? The dad was throwing a BIG hissy fit over something..... the poor kids were mortified. I'm guessing he was just trying to get something free?

Off to EMH at MK!!! Woohoo!!!!!

Hey everyone!! I'm having a busy week which is going to be followed by more busy weeks- baseball season ends on Thursday night (for Tyler- and YES, he can play again). So that means....VACATION TIME!!!!!!! 2 nights in NYC, 1 night in LBI (the beach, our favorite in NJ), a couple of nights home for packing, and then off to a week in HHI at the Disney resort!!! AND......we just booked a 9 night cruise on that gorgeous ship I toured last week, the Explorer of the Seas!! AND....we booked an AFT cabin on the 10th deck so we're going to have one of those HUGE decks I saw!!!! Anyway.....I hope to update everyone today or at the latest tomorrow morning- I know you are all looking forward to hearing about our big DISmeet!

And KARA- the house looks AMAZING, you have been working your BUTT off, and it really shows!! I hope I'll see it in person someday... AND....I fogot about that guy at the next table. What a jerk!!! His poor wife looked humiliated- and like she's seen it all before. I felt REALLY bad for them-

ANYWHO....off to ride my bike and hit the gym- tonight is Paul's party, our FAVORITE (and only) Ironman!!! He is UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Pods and I were watching the runners finish live online- there were some men in their 70's doing that race! How incredible!!

Loving the fun times you ladies have! My two adult DDs(28 and 24) and I are going to Disney for FD and F&W and to visit my DS who will be on the College Program so many drinks we will "tried"
My son is actually going to be at the Cleveland Indians game tonight against the Yankees. It is ARod's 35th birthday and they are hoping to see him hit the big 600! CC is also scheduled to pitch--don't know what kind of reception he will get back in Cleveland We got to see him when he was minor league back with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in Niles, Ohio, some years back!

Great updates. So much to comment on.

First - I have to apologize to Tracy for ruining her desire to ever eat at Narcoossee's.

Your food all looks amazing. I loved the Mickey embellishment in the lobster bisque. That is so cute. The calamri looks great and all the entree look good, too. And that chocolate martini - YUM!

Great timing for the electric light parade and Wishes. I actually like the pictures cause they all have a surreal look.

Lastly, the cruise ship looks AMAZING! Those suites are SWEET! I want to go on that cruise after seeing that boat! Sounds like you had a great time. Your pictures turned out really, really good. That second wrestler is cute!

Those suites were really nice. The price tag for them....not so much!! Are you excited for OBX?

I'm a few weeks behind on the podcast, so I hadn't heard that yet. That would be so amazing! The airfare to get to FL is a decent chunk of change for 5 people, as you kinow!

I didn't hear it on the podcast- it's a blog he wrote about his predictions for DCL of which he says he is 75% certain. I can't even begin to say how happy I would be about it. It would be like having Disney in my backyard- and the DREAM to boot!! We thought about booking it for August next year and then going to Vero for a few nights to make a weeklong vacation out of it. But we have no desire to go to the Bahamas (I've been 2x on other cruises and once to Sandals, and other than going back to Sandals, not really wanting to go back on any ships). I am waiting for bigger itineraries on the Dream- Bermuda or New England/Canada would be AWESOME!!!!!

Yay Paul....can't wait to celebrate his victory on Tuesday!!! Such commitment!

Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to you guys last night- we were late getting to Timmy's baseball party and kind of rushed out! Can't believe Paul is going to do it AGAIN in Panama City in 2011!!! Go PAUL!!!!

Great pics of the ship! Makes me want to go. Hmmm I'm starting a job and it is just a short drive. Oh but wait then the Dream might be coming to NYC. What to do, what to do. Of course I'm just dreamin' atm.

What kind of job are you starting? Congratulations! I would be sooooo much happier if we could go on that cruise during an off-peak time- August is top dollar, no special offers and no discounts- but you could go in May or the fall when there is alot of discounting available on all these NY cruises. We are sucking it up because we feel the vacationing with the kids clock ticking, and we really can only vacation with them in August and November. Tax season takes up the spring, and then comes baseball season until the end of July. It's limiting. At this point we have been going full-tilt for quite a while and we are exhausted....the idea of driving 1/2 an hour and starting a vacation with no other travel hassles is immensely appealing. Can't wait to park it in one of the lounge chairs on that great big AFT deck!

Yes- I feel the same way- I am waaaaay behind on my subscriptions!! Paul DID finish in 13 hours, 58 seconds- and is looking forward to doing it again next November.

A keeping room is also called a hearth room, or what some might call a den. It's a small cozy sitting room off the kitchen. Made popular in big open "farmhouse style" kitchens. But I like your idea better!!!

We were all very happy to be walking down Main st, USA, in hot pusuit of EMH and DISpeeps...

We did stop to take a group pic with a photopass photographer, and....I didn't buy it because it was AWFUL!!! How can the photopass photographers not be better photographers??? Sometimes I really wonder...Anyway, I was texting back and forth with both MEK & Manntra, and we were all right in front of the castle...but we couldn't find each other!!! It was crazy! There was hardly anyone there, yet we couldn't find each other!!! Well, eventually, we seemed to all find one another...WHAT A RELIEF!!! I was really, REALLY looking forward to seeing them, MEK for the second time, since we had already met at Friendly's a few months before, and Manntra- I couldn't WAIT to see her for the first time!! MEK's group was a little tired and seemed like they wanted to head back, so after MEK's Denny took a few bad photos of us,

they retreated back to WLV. Tracey and her friend, however, were easily convinced to hang with us and hit some rides! First was BL-

Wow, Buzz lightyear really CHANGED those girls! Must have been the lasers!!!

We walked over through FL, stopped a for a ride on Snow White, which Tracy, her pal & I squished into one car for..., hit IASW, headed over to the Haunted Mansion, and of course had to drag Kara to, she is one frightened fritter!!!

I think we also went on BTMRR...and then decided to call it a night...I think...sorry about the fuzzy details and fuzzy photos, didn't have my big camera that night...on the way out of the park, I remembered I wanted to take this photo as we were passing by the castle...

It made the night extra wonderful to see both MEK & Manntra in the park. Nice to meet Denny, he seemed very sweet, but I am glad for their family's sake that MEK is the photographer in the family, and not him! Sad we didn't spend more time together, but we'll fix that next year! And I am so, sooo happy Tracy & her friend decided to walk around with us for a while- Tracy is just so witty, and such a genuinely nice person- I hope we run into each other many, many more times in WDW!!!!

Soon we were back at BCV, Kara, Joan & I having our nightcap and conversation til 1 am as usual...

Next up- Flower & Garden and Kara, Joan and I have our FAVORITE meal of the vacation!!!

Hmmmmm Narcosse's looks really good.....I have heard such mixed reviews on the place and honestly MEK's fish picture scarred me for life! Your calamari was presented so nicely...was that gardenia on top...green olives and stuff? I almost booked a reservation for October here and will have to see if I have anything I want to ditch or move around
Your Yankees pictures were spectacular! I will have to show them to my boss....huge fan and goes several times a year...and he scoffs at me when I Dis at work

I can't BELIEVE you missed my show!!! So frustrating when you miss a meet by minutes....

I did enjoy the calamari- it was not topped with giardenera, it was pepperocini sliced up. But calamari ALWAYS makes me too full to have anything else, I should have known better. At home it's not a problem, because I just bring my dinner home and have it the next day. One of my favorite restaurants around here, Mojave Grill, makes the BEST calamari- they actually batter and fry the jalepeno slices they serve with it. YUMMMMMM!!!!

Hope your boss liked the Yankees pics! Maybe now he'll be more supportive of your DISing on company time! HEY! A girl's gotta DIS when a girl's gotta DIS!

That is incredible!!! I did the 5K in Westfield last week and I thought I was going to collapse! I can't even imagine......

Too bad....we had probably our best server ever at Narcoossees around the same time that you guys were there. If you had gotten him, I guarantee your whole experience would have been so much better!

Funny about the "commotion" at the other table about the meals/cheques...wonder what that was about.

I'm glad you had such a wonderful server at your Narcoosees dinner- I can see where that would make for a much more enjoyable night. Our server just didn't have any polish, there was nothing special about her- I seriously can see her serving coffee refills and slingin has at a coffee shop. That's it!

Thank you! I'll be working at Macy's in Woodbridge. It's an on call position so I won't be getting a lot of hours until 4th quarter but it's a foot in the door (and good discounts! ). We are lucky that we can go places most times of year. The only time we can't go anywhere is from Thanksgiving to mid January. Can't wait to read the trip reports that will be upcoming from you as well as the rest of this one!

Awwww it was so nice to finally meet you too Ellen!! I can tell from the short time I spent with all of you that your days together must have been a blast!
