Regarding the 1 BR at OKW - awesome to hear about the 1 BR's sleeping 5. That is great news. I think OKW is like Vero and I know the 1BR at Vero was really big. It had a big LR and I kept wondering why they don't put a pull out chair in there.

Kidani 1BR is definitely another option. I love Kidani!!!!!

Vero has a pullout chair in the 1bdrms now too. I like that option for my family of 5- even without the extra bathroom Kidani & BLT have.

Yes, Ellen, we were on the Carnival Fantasy out of Charleston, SC with ports of call in Key West, Freeport, and Nassau. LOVED it! Elizabeth posted a few pictures from the trip on her FB page. Wil has become quite the social butterfly. I think he knew half the people on the ship by the end of the week.

Hope all the DISmoms are having a great summer so far!

Hi! Tim & Tyler just finished school yesterday, and I was soooooo busy with EOY stuff, not just from their activities, and all the baseball they're playing, but also from 8th grade dance and breakfast and recognition because I'm a Hospitality co-chair and because I'm the incoming PTA president. Right now I don't know which end is up!! Hopefully I'll be able to do a quick post in a minute.

Way to go Tim!!! I have been to SSR 3x and Mandara at the Swalphin once. Lonnie went to the GF once when we were there, too. Between SSR & GF, she preferred SSR, but said it may have been the treatment that she liked better. She did not come with Joan & I to the Mandara. I think the Mandara Spa is nicest (having not been to GF, though), it feels very Indonesian. SSR is nice, too, though- and I love the Mystical Therapies treatment there. But the seaweed detox mudslinging fest I had this past May at Mandara was TDF!! I would look at the treatments and the prices and go to the one that seems most appealing to you. Just remember to request a woman therapist when you book it if you'd be uncomfortable with a man rubbing mud all over you.

We woke up on Sunday morning to another hot and sunny day out our bedroom window-

While some of us were moving a little slower than others (me being one of those slower movers, or maybe the SLOWEST mover!) we were thankful for a late ADR for breakfast. Lonnie drove us over in her magical mystery van, and we stepped out to my other "home". I really, REALLY love AKV, and walking in made me so happy we decided to come this morning to try the famed BOMA breakfast. We were a little early for our ADR, so we walked around a bit while we waited for our buzzer to light up. Pam & Joan had never seen this resort before, so we went on a little quickie tour-

Time for breakfast!! I tried to run around taking as many pics as possible. This was my 3rd meal at BOMA, the other times were for dinner, which I think is just great. But the breakfast is HUGE!!! Lots of really, really yummy stuff, there was something for everyone-

And the famous goat cheese scrambled eggs people love-

And that juice at BOMA??? It's DA BOMB!!! Best juice on the planet- couldn't get enough!! YUMMMMMM!!!! So light and refreshing! I do believe some server or another recommended trying it with rum sometime....but that would have to happen on another day...

But not a zebra dome in sight!! Sadly, there are no zebra domes at BOMA's brekkie.....UNLESS, of course, you've got some DISmom MOJO workin' for ya- then they bring out a plate just for you!!!

Yea, that's right....we ARE that SPECIAL! They were frozen when we ate them, because our boys got them from the freezer- and may I just say, frozen is THE way to go for a zebra dome....takes it to a whole new yummy level. I'll be having mine frozen from now on, thank-you very much. Some more goodies-

Of course, THEN it was time for more freebies for Lonnie the birthday girl....who was indisposed when they came out with these, so we were happy to accept them on her behalf...

Tortured bartenders??? They LOVE us!!! We are VERY entertaining for Disney bartenders!! Especially when Kara lets loose and starts chug-a-lugging that chocolate milk!! WHOA!!!!! And no, we sadly had no pop rocks tinis this trip- they are no longer offered, and we forgot to bring our own like we did last year. But we had a fabulous time even pop-rock-less.

Sounds like you really enjoyed that cruise! We're doing the Disney one again in November, then next August, i think we're going to either cruise to Bermuda out of NY or do the Disney Dream to the Bahamas. It's all soooooooooooooooooooooooo expensive in August, though!!

Summer really just started for Joan & I, and actually Sean is still in school until tomorrow....

Yea- I know, it's a BIG problem!! Really, I've never been to Bermuda- which, if you've lived in NJ your entire life (which I HAVE- yes, I am a REAL housewife of NJ!) (where is that TAG FAIRY????? ) is unheard of- I might actually be the only 47 year old woman in the state who hasn't been. No joke. And my boys would LOVE to go on a BIG ship. But....well, you know...the Disney addiction. Besides, that will be a BIG ship, too- with the added bonus of not being nickel and dimed to death while on board- we can bring our own case of water, wine, Capt Morgan- there is a lot to be said for lowering our bar bill!

And those Frozen ZDs are THE way to go- I will be buying them in the future at the Mara to freeze myself on vacation.
