DISign Newbie

I'm new to the whole DISigns thing but I think they're all so cool. I just found one on a thread that I think my BF will love its a NY Giants one. My question is (and sorry if this is totally stupid to ask) is how do I know take this picture from my computer and get it onto a shirt? I think it's probably some kind of iron on process but that's where my semi-knowledge ends...please help!
